Gene Reardon, Leading Counsellor.

About Gene

Gene Reardon is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, with more than 20 years’ experience working with children, teenagers, adults, and families – on a wide range of life challenges.

Sometimes we need support – life throws us unexpected challenges, or things become difficult or overwhelming. – You may be feeling anxious or depressed, experiencing trauma, grief, and loss, unable to make decisions, or experiencing loneliness, or worries and uncertainty about changes in your life, you may have concerns about your future, are living with a disability or experiencing difficulties within your relationships.

It is a positive step to seek counselling. I will work with you to move through these challenges, tapping into your unique strengths, developing your problem-solving skills, discovering your opportunities for growth, and fostering a positive way forward.

Wondering How Counselling Works?

My approach is to enable the time, a safe space, and approach to support your process of self-exploration, discovery, and learning. Every one of us is beautifully different and unique. I listen with compassion, engaging with you in a focused, respectful, non-judgmental, confidential, and engaging way. Through dialogue, and reflection, you can discover awareness and understanding, learning how to manage difficulties or challenges. Through counselling you can rediscover yourself, regaining balance, awareness, and strength in your life. This time is an opportunity for personal enrichment, as you deepen your understanding of challenges and a meaningful way forward.
